LEGAL PAIR LAUNCH PORTRAIT PROJECT
JEROME DORAISAMY HAS PAIRED WITH DAVID FIELD TO LAUNCH AN ONLINE PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT CALLED LIFETIMES IN LAW TO CELEBRATE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE USED THE LAW TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY.
Jerome is a lawyer, author, journalist, blogger, speaker and consultant from Sydney, New South Wales. He has recently joined POPCOM as a communications consultant and will be working with us on our exciting projects. David Field is Chief Legal Counsel at Canon Australia and began his photography at the age of eight. His portfolio of photography includes an interest in telecommunications heritage.
Lifetimes in Law will feature an individual every few weeks, with two portraits. It will include a “photographic portrait” by David, and a “word portrait” by Jerome. These individuals have used law during their lives to serve the community through public service, education, social justice or advocacy for the under-privileged.
Their first feature involves Professor Jill McKeough, who has nurtured law students as the dean of the University of Technology (UTS) in Sydney. She has revamped the law curriculum to better serve the needs of students and educated thousands of would be lawyers.
