POPCOM EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATIONS SERIES
CPD sessions for law and accounting firms, delivered by Amanda Lacey, Founder & Managing Director, Popcom.
The Popcom Executive Communications Series is a CPD program built specifically for lawyers and accountants — practical, business-skills sessions that give professionals the communications capability to become visible, trusted and chosen in their market. Run as a standalone session or as an ongoing series, delivered in-person or virtually.
CPD seminars
what can you expect?
Run as a one-off, each session stands on its own. Run as a series, they build a firm's communications capability over time — and give Popcom a regular touchpoint with your partners and directors, rather than a single afternoon.
Sessions are 45, 60 or 90 minutes, count toward CPD points as self-assessed practice management or professional skills activities, and can be tailored to your firm's practice areas and seniority mix.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
PR as a Professional Skill
Clients don't call in a crisis for legal or financial advice alone, they call because they don't know what to do next. This session covers how to guide a client through the communications side of a crisis: what to say publicly and what to hold back, how to work alongside a client's own advisers or spokespeople, and how the first 24 hours shape whether a situation is contained or compounded. Built for professionals who are often the first call a client makes, not the last.
CPD category: Practice Management & Business Skills
PR isn't a department lawyers and accountants hand things off to — it's a skill they can use directly. This session covers how media relationships actually work, what makes a professional quotable, how to handle a journalist enquiry, and how visibility in the press builds the same trust a good referral does.

Most professionals treat LinkedIn as an afterthought or avoid it altogether. This session reframes it as a business development tool: what to post, how often, how to sound like yourself rather than a corporate feed, and how to turn a profile into something referrers and clients actually notice — without adding another task to an already full week.
